Bouncers and Rockers for Your Little Olympian

Bouncers and rockers are a great way to keep kids in the 3-12 month range stimulated and entertained. When they’re super young, babies are content with the rocking, bouncing, or vibration; when kids get a little more with-it, jumperoos and such are great to expend kicky energy. Here, a few of our faves:

Combi Pod Bouncer, $80, has everything you could possibly need or want. It vibrates, it plays music (it even has an iPod dock!), it comes complete with wooden toys, it reclines…and loads of other useful features. It also doubles as convenient little napping area–perfect for travel.

This one however, will not be traveling with you. Yes, it’s kind of a behemoth, but the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo, $100, is also a godsend. So many activities on the “dashboard” will keep them busy–and the jumping capabilities…it’s crazy. Your child will have Olympic potential* with the vertical prowess they’ll develop.

*Art of Moming cannot guarantee your kid will make it to the Olympics. We were just trying to make a point.
